First-Year Student at the University of Nevada, Reno
After graduating from Jesuit High School in Sacramento, CA, I decided to attend the University of Nevada, Reno for my next four years. Due to UNR’s strong business program, close proximity to home, as well as snowboarding mountains, this college felt like a clear choice. So far as I’m wrapping up my first semester as a business student, I have loved what this school has had to offer. From joining Kappa Alpha Order and several clubs, I am safe to call this college home even though I haven’t been here for long.
Previous Work Experience
Getting my first job at 16 at VillaSport: Athletic Club and Spa and working there until I was 18 years old taught me several noteworthy lessons and values. I worked as a housekeeping associate and a certified lifeguard through my 2 years at this company. Learning the ins and outs of a business showed me how many people go into running a company as well as how important every role is. I plan to acquire an internship this upcoming summer as I return back to Roseville, CA.
Hobbies, Interests, and Life Goals
I have and will always be interested in a variety of sports. I’ve played countless sports including but not limited to soccer, basketball, snowboarding, golf, and MMA. I have always enjoyed staying active and I’ve realized the most enjoyable for me is being involved in a plethora of sports. Since I’ve been involved in multiple sports, brotherhood and having true friends I can have fun with and rely on is incredibly important to me. For my future, since my parents have their own landscaping architecture business, I plan on developing a business of my own, although my central idea for the business is still in the air.
